The rosè wine Rohesia made from Negroamaro grapes grown on espalier with spurred cordon, in the territory of Guagnano (Lecce). The harvest is done in the second half of September. The grapes are gently pressed and cooled to 10-12 ° C. This allows to bring the maceration times up to more than 24 hours, by limiting the extraction of tannins. Racking occurs when the wort has reached the optimal tone and features. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, carried out at 16 ° C, the wine matures for about 4 months. To be drunk soon or keep for 2-3 years.
Characterized by an intense cherry pink colour. It has an intense and persistent perfume with hints of red berry fruit, strawberry, pomegranate, cherry. Complex aroma in which also appears the flint. At the palate it is round, mighty, haughty. A wine of remarkable olfactory persistence. Powerful but of great freshness and flavour. Serve at a temperature of 11 ° C.
