Wine produced from mature and selected grapes of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera, harvested by hand in small boxes. Maceration in horizontal rotating tanks of 500 hectoliters. During this period (14 days), the wine completes the alcoholic fermentation at a temperature not higher than 20 ° C, to be then introduced in new barrels, where it completes the malolactic fermentation. Subsequently the wine completes its aging in oak barrels for 9 months, after which it is bottled. Followed by aging in bottle before release on markets.
This wine has an intense and deep ruby red colour with amaranth reflections. At the nose it shows attractive aromas of cherry jam and dates, vanilla and liquorice notes. At the palate it is marked by red fruits taste and sweet wood shades. Warm, good fragrance, with delicate but vigorous tannins. Lingering finish.
