Made from Primitivo grapes grown in vineyards in cordon on medium-textured soils in the territory Brindisi. The harvest takes place in early September. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 10 days, maceration for 15 days at a controlled temperature. Ageing for 4 months in conical vats of 40 hl of French oak.
It is characterized by a deep ruby colour, tending to garnet. It presents fragrant ethereal notes and rich, that unfolds crisp scent and cherry nuances in alcohol, blackberry jam, blueberries and currants, rhubarb, humus, tobacco, ginger, black pepper and aromatic herbs. At the palate it exudes a strong flavor, consistent and dynamic, from which emerges a fascinating mineral taste, which blends well with the powerful structure of the fruit, the vigorous sour taste and with the already pleasant and exuberant tannins. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 ° C.
