Made from Negroamaro grapes grown in vineyards in cordon on medium-textured soils in the territory Brindisi. The harvest takes place in mid-September. Then follows the fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the maceration for twelve days, at a controlled temperature. The aging for 5 months in French oak vats of 40 Hl and then in bottle for 4 months.
Characterized by a brilliant ruby red colour. It has a scent of ethereal and enveloping notes of cherries, plums, blackberries, currants, flawlessly integrated with sharp shades of black pepper, tobacco, licorice, thyme, rosemary, leather and juniper. At the palate it exudes a warm and elegant flavor, it shows fullness and a well-balanced alcohol structure, resulting velvety and harmonious, long and persistent, rich of gentle and smooth tannins. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 ° C.
