Made with grapes of Brindisi black Malvasia cultivated in the territory of San Marzano (Taranto) on medium loamy soils, shallow and with good skeleton. The harvest is done in the second week of September. then a thermo-controlled maceration follows for about 10 days, followed by alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts. Aged in barrels of French and American wood for 6 months.
Characterized by a ruby red colour enhanced with purple reflections. It presents an opulent fragrance that recalls ripe cherries and plums, with pleasant notes of cocoa and vanilla. At the palate it gives off a remarkable structure, softened by the soothing warmth of the Primitivo, and ends with notes of persistent sweetness. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 ° C.
